  • We would like to thank you for the prompt and efficient manner in which you have looked after us. We have been live aboard blue water cruising now for six years almost completing a circumnavigation two handed. We have used two other yacht insurance companies during this time and were advised by our first company that they would not cover us in South African waters after being with them for 5 years and no claims. We had great difficulty trying to find an affordable replacement policy to cover our yacht in those waters. We paid a huge amount to get cover for the South Atlantic crossing and were very fortunate to find Topsail Insurance after crossing through the Panama. We found our Topsail broker in Australia very helpful with prompt easy direct communications concerning all our Yacht insurance requirements. Once our claim had been lodged through Mark, our Topsail broker in Australia we got instant notification that the claim was passed onto Head Office, who notified us within a day of receipt of our claim lodgement. Thank you Daniel. You have both dealt very professionally and understanding without any obstacles or hassles in our way. We would like to make a small recommendation to Mark, our broker.  Mark, when we contacted you for the opportunity to provide our insurance needs, we did not ever imagine we would use this service and have always taken the extra option of the rating one protection. We were feeling a little mean with our Yacht insurance after paying so highly for the previous years, and were a little sceptical when you were able to provide the same coverage in all the same cruising areas for half the cost. We chose not to take the rating one protection to save ourselves a few dollars. This was our mistake, might we suggest that you refer our incident to others, the great option of the rating one protection. We are both feeling happy and comfortable knowing we have insurance with a reputable company. Thank you both for all your assistance..
